If I may add, this novel is set as the continuation of the novel "Dazai, Chuuya, 15 years old" which was released about a year and a half ago. Bungo Stray Dogs: Storm Bringer by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa as always, follows a year after the events of the last light novel. However, a man by the name of Paul Verlaine—the king of assassins who claims to be Chuuya’s older brother—suddenly appears, vowing to murder everyone he cares about! When his six friends died in the dragon head conflict, Dazai was the only one who managed to survive. To Shirahama-sama, the editor who has always been patient and forgiving with the schedule and proofreading of my work.

This instalment also questions whether being born gives you the right to live, or if there is more to it than that. In the afterword of "Dazai, Chuuya, 15 years old", I wrote that I am hoping to squeeze in enough information in the sequel so that I can finally say that “The Double Black past arc is now complete! The next day, Adam attends the funeral for the Flags and interrupts the ceremony trying to speak with Chūya about Verlaine.The assassin’s excuse for being present at the beginning is a tad shaky, and his goal feels ambiguous as well. However, it is implied in the epilogue that Chūya is in fact the original, making this Chūya the clone.

While the plot is a little bloated, it does not suffer the problem to the same extent as the others.Many shocks emerge over the course of its three-hundred-sixty-four pages – making this the longest in the series by a wide margin!
