We at Equiside are passionate about our animals.

We have been breeding top quality German Shepherd Dogs for many years, both of us owned and bred this wonderful breed before becoming a couple which is when the Equiside affix was granted. (It had to be Equiside as we both shared the same love for horses too)

All of our dogs have superb German bloodline pedigrees, all are hipscored below the breed average and all our males are free from haemophilia. Above all else our dogs have outstanding, outgoing temperaments.

When we do breed great emphasis is placed on breeding correct well balanced dogs and all our puppies are raised in the home.

Our dogs are part of our family and we insist on our puppies being raised the same way.

As well as our love for dogs we both share the same passion for horses. We have both been involved with them all our lives-breeding, competing, breaking and schooling and we do occasionally have a horse or pony for sale. We put the same devotion into our horses as our dogs and make a point of only having dealings with safe well balanced animals.

We welcome visitors by appointment and are happy to give advice.
